Ask God for guidance in whatever name you call him and in whatsoever way you worship.
This year also make up your mind to shed some weight any weight that holds or will hold you down be it Physical ,Spiritual , Financial, Emotional and Sexual
So how do you shed Physical weight ?
I'd like us to realize that our physical body is all we have to be here now and at this time on earth once we harm this physical body deliberately or otherwise we cease to be candidates of this part of the world ,so while we are guzzling all the fizzy drinks ,sodas, soft drinks or whatever you call it please remember they have adverse effects on the body and can make us cease to enjoy life here or totally wipe us out when taken in excess,go instead for fruits most Natural Sweet stuff will not harm the body when taken in moderation too but they are more likely not to cause harm to the body because their DNA like yours is created by God so they will be in agreement.
Exercise take a walk instead of a Bike / Tricycle.
Eat alot of Vegetables ,Practice breathing properly and consciously ( Easy way is to do that is consciously breath in and expand your Abdomen and breathe out while compressing your Abdomen.
Emotional Weight :
If anyone is taking up your emotions either because you give it to them willingly or unwillingly know that if they are not reciprocating ,they are draining your energy and you my dear are wasting your time and energy .
No one is ever too busy for 48 hours not to respond to your message or return your call ,unless of course they have an emergency but then if you matter to them as they do to you ,a quick "I will respond" , "I am stuck in an Attic I will get back to you e.t.c" means they value you, your time,emotions , and that they prioritize you to an extent ,by all means don't go falling in love with an image of an Ideal Man or Woman whom you have created by yourself such that you excuse bad behaviour hoping they will fit into it........ Still love them ,but from a distance and do not invest your emotions and get drained.
Do not excuse bad behaviour because you think you are in love....You deserve better .
Financial Weight
Are there habits that take up your money ,or things you buy that you actually do not need, before your next purchase ask yourself do I really need this ,If I do not have it can I manage ? Can this money be better used ?
If you are a Christian by all means pay your Tithe! Tithe is compulsory ,offering is not! Don't eat your Tithe ooh ,its an invitation to poverty remember God's promise to rebuke the devourer for your sake.
If you are a Muslim do your Zakats,If you practice any other Tradition or Religion give ,give ,give according to your Faith.
Do not feel bad if you do not have cash understand that money and cash are two different things cash is the paper ,Money is the mindset, never lose the mindset even if sometimes you are cashless. Stay in a happy, grateful place and do not say negative things about your situation.
If you love your job but it does not pay your bill,find other angles to the job that you can earn from,start something while holding in to what you have ,when it is time to let go you will know.
Spiritual Weight
Well do not look down on others who do not profess the same faith as you do ,no religion is superior to another even though every one who will get into God's kingdom will have to meet and experience the Christ Consciousness which is quite technical to explain and it isn't necessarily Christianity as it is practiced .....Lesson for another day .........
I digress
God in His Wisdom did not create just one race ,or one tribe or language ,that goes to show that God is interested and happy with the diversity of the human race and He loves us all in the beauty of our diverse beliefs no religion is superior to another so let us get off our high horses and stop turning up our noses at people who do not share our faith . God loves us all with all our imperfections.
Have an open mind read about other races and religions the internet makes the world a level playing field to learn and to grow .
Do not be the black man to who it is said that to hide something from a black man put it in a book.
Read about your faith and other faiths too have sympathetic understanding for everyone and show love to other including those who are horrible to you ,they act based on their best understanding at that time. When they know better they will do better, plus there is a god in every man,hence since each man as a representative of God because that is who and what they are.
Well I cannot add Sexual(because I am tired and I am running on less than 5hrs sleep in about 48 hours ) but stay away from multiple partners you will be doing yourself a great dis-service
